Bailey House Historical Property Renovation

Atriax moved its headquarters to this 1912 home that was definitely showing its age and stayed there for 16 years. This home is listed on the National Historic Property Register. The original character and historically relevant architectural elements like the interior woodwork, oak floors, interior trim and windows were refurbished and preserved. Structural issue like the leaky porch roof, unlevel floors, and unwieldy front porch were addressed and corrected. Modernizing touches like adding an ADA ramp, updating utilities, removing the old boiler system and adding high-efficiency HVAC provided the finishing touches. This historic “home” was one to 30 employees until 2023 when we moved into yet another major renovation project: a former motorcycle repair shop on Hickory’s west side.
