Historic Bailey House Remodel Design

Atriax, PLLC

What We Did

Complete renovation and adaptive reuse of a two story, historical house built in 1912. While the owners wished to maintain the original character and historically relevant architectural aspects of the home, the porch roof needed to be-redesigned to correct a recurring moisture problem and to add state-of-the-art voice and data infrastructure . The City of Hickory Preservation Commission reviewed and approved all re-designed architectural elements suggested by Atriax and awarded the owners a preservation award at the end of the project. The building is currently used as a commercial office building. Building is on the local and National Historic Property Registers.
