We've Got a New Website!

In our last issue we talked about our new home in a former motorcycle repair shop. Now we have a new modern website that we think is a better reflection of who we've become. The website includes the story of our building's transformation to Atriax headquarters. Go to www.atriaxgroup.com to watch the metamorphosis.

Atriax welcomes Interior Designer Sally Osborne

Sally Osborne, an interior designer, decided to use her skills to benefit our government and commercial clients. She is also accumulating experience to take the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam. Sally holds a BS in Interior Design and worked with Broyhill Furniture and Aria Designs. One of her first projects for Atriax was decorating the walls of our new headquarters with photos of our projects and company history.

Atriax welcomes Architect Brian Broussard

Draftsman Brian Broussard comes to Atriax after spending 17 years at Lachin Architects in New Orleans. One of the things that drew him to Hickory was the fantastic city that US News & World Report has named as the most affordable metro area and one of the best places to live in America. As not only a motorcycle enthusiast but someone who has built his own custom motorcycle, working in a former motorcycle repair shop got his attention too. This talented professional has also built his own canoe and has already become the go-to person for advice on what's going on in Hickory.

Atriax in the Community

Art Crawl
Atriax sponsored 12 artists from the art department at Catawba Valley Community College at the Hickory Downtown Development Association's October Art Crawl on the Square.
group pose
We linked up with Habitat for Humanity of Catawba Valley for another build in Hickory in October. This time we were joined by the soon-to-be-owner's friends. We planted grass, flowering plants, shrubs and trees on a gorgeous fall day.
“Sails” Music Series
The Sails Music Series, a popular downtown Hickory event (coordinated by our own Bob Sinclair) wrapped up another successful season. Atriax is proud to be a sponsor of this series, which provides an opportunity for the community to gather during select Friday nights during the summer and fall to support and enjoy independent free music like Zoe & Cloyd, a bluegrass/ klezmer band. Yep, that happened.
Tapping_into_Talent_Symposium
Director of Special Projects Michael McCourt joined other panelists at the Tapping into Talent Symposium sponsored by the Catawba County Economic Development Corporation in September.
